List of works undertaken under SWACHH BHARAT MISSION
YEAR : 2023 - Swachhata Pakhwada  : 16th December - 31st December, 2023
A. Banners were displayed at the Office gate and KVK gate on 16-12-2023
B. Swachhta Pledge was administered to the Officials/ Staff members on 16-12-2023
C. Stock taking & briefing of the activities was organized during the pakhwada was undertaken on 16-12-2023
D. Plantation of Trees was undertaken at this Institute on 16-12-2023.
E. Digitization of Office records: All the Officials/Staff members use e-Office for day to day Office work.
F. Cleanliness drive was undertaken in Administration cum laboratory building of the Institute on 17-12-2023.
G. Weeding of physical files was carried out with the help of duly constituted weeding committee. In total 05 files were weeded out from accounts section on 17-12-2023.
H. Institute staff explained and raised awareness to the general public of the Karmali Railway Station, Goa on keeping the station clean, removal of dirt and dust, protecting the environment and local resources, and ways to reduce the harmful effects of inadequate sanitation practices to improve health, hygiene and sustainable development on 18-12-2023.
I. Cleaning and sanitation awareness campaign was undertaken to promote Swachhta in Karmali village, Goa. KVK and Institute staff educated villagers on household and community hygiene and sanitation, including waste disposal, hand washing, and water storage on 18-12-2023.
J. Cleaning/Sanitation drive was undertaken in the campus area in Block A, B & C of the Institute on 19-12-2023.
K. Residents of staff quarters and Old Goa villagers were advised to keep separate containers for dry and wet waste in the kitchen and drop them into the waste bin. Residents were also advised to sort and separate waste types to facilitate recycling and correct disposal methods like composting and vermicomposting. Vermicomposting was also demonstrated to all the participants. Total 35 participants attended
L. Awareness campaign on Recycling of wastewater and its use in agriculture on 21-12-2023.
M. Competition on waste to wealth was conducted to the children of Institute employees in the residential quarter’s garden on 22-12-2023. Approx 17 children actively participated in the competition.
N. Kisan Diwas was celebrated in Gomantak Goushala, Mayem Goa on 23-12-2023.
O. Swachhata awareness campaign was carried out in Nagali village, Tiswadi Taluka, Goa 0n 24-12-2023. Every villager was urged to actively take part in the Swachhata Mission to Clean India in order to realize the aspiration of our Nation's Father for the preservation of the environment for our safety and the protection of our future. Total participants were 20.
P. Swacchhta cleaning drive was conducted at Old Goa market and surrounding area on 25-12-2023. There were 18 participants.
Q. Under the Campaign “Swachhta Pakhwada” a drawing competition for school children of Old Goa and Carambolim village was organized on 26-12-2023. Nearly five (05) children actively participated in the competition in spreading the awareness on Swachhta.
R. Rally of staff members with play cards on curb the use of Single Use Plastic (SUP) in the Old Goa village was carried out on 27-12-23.
 
  
YEAR : 2023 - Swachhata Hi Sewa (SHS)  : 15th September - 02nd October, 2023
A. Displayed banners at prominent places of this Institute. Administered Swachhta Pledge to all the Staff members/Officials. Cleaning and sweeping  the respective Sections, Laboratories, Corridors and the entire campus of the Institute was organized at this Institute on 25-09-2023.
B. Cleaning of Surrounding areas of the Institute (Farm A outside) and Cleaning the areas around the Karmali Railway Station was carried out on 26-09-2023.
C. Cleaning near the Tourist place i.e Gandhi Circle, Old Goa and Cleaning near the ASI Monuments/ heritage sites: Cleaning surrounding areas of Bom Jesus Basilica Church at Old Goa was carried out on 27-09-2023.
 
D. Cleaning the area outside the campus on National Highway 748 was carried out on 29-09-2023.
E. Prize Distribution of painting Competition  at Old Goa Education Institute, Goa and a walkathon during Swachhata Pakhwada from the Institute Campus to Old Goa and back was conducted on 2-10-2023.
YEAR : 2023 - Special Campaign 3.0  : 02nd October - 31st October, 2023
A. Administered Swachhta Pledge to all the Staff members/Officials on 3-10-2023.
 
B. Cleaning and weeding of Sports Ground area was done on 4-10-2023.
 
C. Weeding of physical files - Administration section was done on 5-10-2023.
D. Cleanliness in the laboratories was carried out on 6-10-2023
 
E. Cleaning of offices, Laboratories and corridors in the main building by the respective Officials 9-10-2023
    
F. Weeding of physical files - Administration section was carried out on 10-10-2023.
G. Cleaning of estate section and identification of scrap for disposal was carried out on 11-10-2023.
H. Cleaning of electrical section and identification of scrap for disposal was carried out on 12-10-2023.
I. Cleaning the signboards in the Institute campus was carried out on 13-10-2023.
J. Cleaning outside of the boundary walls of the Institute in Collaboration with the local Panchayat was carried out on 16-10-2023, 17-10-2023 & 18-10-2023.
K. Tree plantation drive was carried out in the Farm C of this Institute on 19-10-2023. In total around 60 Cashew grafts were planted.
L. Checking and repairing the water leakages and flush systems in Block A, B, and C of this Institute was carried out on 20-10-2023.
M. Cleaning, weeding & removal of plastic from the Residential Quarters area of this Institute was carried out on 25-10-2023.
N. Cleaning of the area in front of the Labour Shed and Fishery wet Lab area was done on 26-10-2023.
O. Updating and painting of the field boards on the Institute Campus was done on 27-10-2023.
P. 450 m2 space area was freed and 1125 kg of identified scraps was disposed of by the duly constituted committee. The revenue generated from scrap disposal was Rs. 28,600/- (Rupees Twenty Eight thousand Six Hundred only) was done on 30-10-2023.
Q. Participatory cleaning of the Residential Quarters area was undertaken under the campaign was done on 31-10-2023
