Vigilance Awareness Week celebrated at the Institute
In accordance to the Council’s Letter No.104-1/2024-Vig.I dated 09-10-2024, the ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ was celebrated at ICAR-Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute from 28-10-2024 to 3-11-2024. This year the the theme of Vigilance Awareness Week was “ Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”. Accordingly, the following activities were carried out as detailed below:-
I. Integrity Pledge
The integrity pledge was taken by around 40 employees of the institute lead by Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director, ICAR-CCARI
II. Distribution Pamphlets/Banners
‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ banners were displayed at the main gate and KVK gate of the Institute. Pamphlets of ‘Vigilance Awareness Week’ & PIDPI were distributed to the villagers at the of Old Goa Village Panchayat, to the students of Goa College of Agriculture, Old Goa and the Visitors visiting the Institute campus and to visitors/tourists.
III. Conduct of Workshop/Sensitization programmes
On 28-10-2024, 38 students and two Goa College of Agriculture assistant professors attended a vigilance awareness and anti-corruption sensitisation lecture. The students and faculty also took the integrity pledge.
A vendor meeting was conducted on 29-10-2024 to raise awareness of the organization’s policies and procedures and preventive vigilance measures
Vigilance awareness meeting held at Gram panchayat of Old Goa for sensitisation of the panchayat officials and villagers.
IV. Other activities
Essay writing and drawing competitions were conducted to the Staff Members and their families.
