ICAR-CCARI conducted campaign on Processing & Storage of Food grains & Pulses

ICAR – Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute (CCARI) & ICAR – Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), North Goa organized a campaign on “Processing & Storage of Food grains & Pulses” on 24/01/2022. Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director, ICAR – CCARI spoke on the status of food grains security of India. He also emphasized about losses occurring during post-harvest handling of food grains which should be minimized through value addition and processing.

In the technical session Shri HR Chidananda Prabhu, Senior Scientist & Head I/C, KVK – North Goa delivered lecture on processing and storage pest of food grains and pulses.

Mrs. Sunetra Talaulikar, SMS (Home Science) proposed vote of thanks and Dr. Monica Singh, SMS (Agril. Extension) compered the program. The program was attended by 35 farmers and farm women.
