Award function felicitating the ICAR-CCARI Sports contingent
A function was organised at the institute on 21st November, 2015 for felicitating the sports team of ICAR Inter Zone Sports meet (West Zone). Shri Agostinho Fernandes, AAO, Manager of the sports team presented a detailed tour report. Dr. Narendra Pratap Singh, Director of the institute felicitated all the participants by presenting momentos.
The ICAR Inter Zonal Sports Meet (West Zone) - 2015 was held at CSWRI, Avikanagar from November 2 - 6 , 2015. A contingent of 16 sports personnel representing ICAR-CCARI with Shri. Edward Crasta, Technical Officer as Chief-de-Mission and Shri Agostinho Fernandes, AAO as Manager participated in Football, Volleyball, Carom, Badminton, 400 m, 800 m and 1500 m race and 100 x 4 m relay race. The winners in various events were as follows :
IInd Place in Football , Volleyball and Carom and IIIrd Place in 4 x 100 mts, Relay race
