Inauguration of Seed Unit

    KVK North Goa has recently established a seed unit in its campus to mitigate the problem of unavailability of quality vegetable seeds in Goa. This seed unit was inaugurated by respected Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director, ICAR – CCARI on 27^th May, 2021. Dr. B L Kasinath, Head, KVK – North Goa, ICAR welcomed Dr. Parveen Kumar by offering him floral bouquet. After that Director inaugurated the seed unit by cutting ribbon. He also unveiled seed kit and seed packet prepared by KVK. Mr. Dashrath farmer of Karmali village received a seed kit by Director. He also emphasized the importance of availability of quality seeds to Goan farmers at affordable price and applauded the efforts of KVK staff in narrowing the gap to demand & supply of quality seeds in Goa. The programme was attended by entire staff of KVK.
