ICAR-CCARI, Goa organized an input distribution programme under institute Scheduled Caste Sub Plan in Bicholim, Goa

    An input distribution programme was organized on 30 October, 2024 at Sal village in Bicholim taluka, Goa under the Scheduled Caste Sub Plan scheme of Govt. of India. A total of eight beneficiaries (4 males and 4 females) were attended during the program. Inputs such as Poultry Layer Feed, Multipurpose HDPE barrels for feed storage, Literatures on Economic feeding of backyard poultry, Ready Reckoner on managemental practices for profitable pig farming, Freshwater ornamental fish culture and management, and Posters on coastal fish biodiversity were distributed to the farmers. Dr Amiya Ranjan Sahu (Scientist) and Mr Prakash Parwar (Technician, Animal Science) coordinated the programme. Mr Kiran Hangaragi (YP I) and Mr Narayan Gawas (Field Assistant) helped in the arrangements and distribution the programme.
