Rangoli competition and Ethno-food platter competitions

    To add colours and flavours to the research environment of ICAR-CCARI, the newly formed ‘Ladies recreation club’ organized ‘Ethno-food platter competition’ and ‘Rangoli competition’ on 18th September, 2021.Women staff and spouses/ daughters/ mothers/ sisters of male staff participated in these events with lot of enthusiasm. Mrs. Anjana Parveen Kumar, the Chief Patron of the club was at the forefront to motivate the participants. The ‘Rangoli competition’ had plethora of designs and take-home messages of women empowerment, corona awareness and tribute to corona warriors. There was a wide choice of beautiful colours ranging from traditional to modern art. The ‘Ethno-food platter competition had range of entries and platters from various coastal states like Goa, Maharashtra and Kerala. The competitions were judged by internal judges and a special judge, Mr. Shubhendra Mehta, a former chef with international experience.
