Director, ICAR-CCARI paid a visit to the Hon'ble Governor of Goa

    Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director ICAR-CCARI paid a visit to the Hon'ble Governor of Goa Shri P. S. Sreedharan Pillai at Raj Bhawan on 08th September 2023. The Director briefed the Hon’ble Governor on the research activities of the Institute in conserving agro-biodiversity and promoting agro-ecotourism in the coastal states. Hon’ble Governor appreciated the accomplishments of ICAR-CCARI, Goa and presented the book ‘Heritage Trees of Goa’ authored by him to the Director.

    The Director was accompanied by Shri N. K. Kurian, a progressive farmer and Managing Director of Mango Meadows (World’s first Agricultural Theme Park), Kottayam, Kerala and Dr. R. Solomon Rajkumar, Senior Scientist of this Institute.
