PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi ‘Webcasting of release of 17th instalment ’ organised by ICAR-CCARI Goa

ICAR-Krishi Vigyan Kendra, North Goa, ICAR-CCARI Goa organised a webcasting program of ‘Release of 17th instalment of PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi’ at Dr. M. S. Swaminathan Hall, ICAR-CCARI, Ela Old Goa on 18th June 2024. Shri. Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State in the Ministry of Power and Minister of State in the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Government of India was Chief Guest of the function. In his inaugural address, he briefed the vision of Central Government to boost up farmers income through various Central Government Schemes and also urged farmers to adopt scientific practices in major crops of Goa.  Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director, ICAR-CCARI Goa urged farmers to adopt the technologies and farming system models developed by ICAR-CCARI, Goa to get better crop yields and improved profits. Dr. Udharwar S.V., Senior Scientist & Head In-charge, KVK North Goa, welcomed the gathering and briefed about PM-Kisan flagship program. Sixty-five progressive farmers and farm women participated and benefitted from the program. The program was concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Shri Rahul Kulkarni, ACTO (Soil Science). The programmes were coordinated by Dr. Udharwar S. V., Sr. Scientist and Head Incharge, Shri Rahul Kumar, SMS (Agronomy, Shri Rahul Kulkarni, ACTO (Soil Science), Shri Vishwajeet Prajapati, Technical Officer (Computer).
