PMFME Sponsored Food Processing EDP training for Credit Linked Subsidy beneficiaries

    A three-day food processing EDP training for Credit Linked Subsidy Individual Beneficiaries was conducted during January 13 to 15,2025 at ICAR CCARI. A Total of 30 food business operators under PMFME scheme of the GOI from Bardez, Ponda, Bicholim,Sattari, Salcete taluka North Goa and South Goa. They were trained on various aspects : understanding supply chain in food processing industries, opportunities in food sector, establishing an enterprise, market survey, business plan etc ,plan layout and maintenance , procurement of machinery & raw material storage, transportation, objective of EDP, characteristics of entrepreneur, managerial skills, common business risk, PMFME overview & brief mention of other government of India schemes supporting food processing enterprises, packaging & labelling requirements, introduction to HACCP FSMS certification, FSSAI license/registration and renewal, FosCos regulations for food quality, food regulatory compliances, business registration & other compliances, labour laws, udyam registration, IPR, trademark registered, Income tax/PAN, export- import licence, understanding banking & funding – general bank system, bank loans , Mudra Yojana, financial management, book keeping & accounting , staff training & motivation, IT in business, ERP & accounting system ,  marketing technique & digital marketing, logistic supply chain, branding food domains, value addition, raw material tools/ equipment's/machineries followed by hands on training on  at post-harvest lab (AGNI food hub I), retort unit (AGNI food hub II)and virgin coconut oil unit KVK.
