PMFME Sponsored  Food Processing EDP Training for Credit Linked Subsidy Beneficiaries’ Training, October 9-11, 2023

   

    A training for PMFME Food Processing EDP training for Credit Linked Subsidy individual beneficiaries was conducted between October 9 - 11 ,2023 at ICAR CCARI. Total number of beneficiaries for the training were 27 from Bardez, Ponda, Pernem, and Bicholim talukas of North Goa and Quepem & Salcete talukas of  South Goa. The beneficiaries were trained on various aspects like PM FME Scheme, overview of Food industry, understanding supply chain in food processing industries,, other government of India Schemes supporting food processing enterprises, food domains, Value addition, Raw material, Tools/ Equipment's/Machineries as per Capacity by Dr. Mathala Gupta, Principal Scientist, ICAR-CCARI, Objective of EDP, Characteristics of Entrepreneur, Managerial skills by Dr. Sapna Arora through online mode, Packaging & labelling requirements, Introduction to HACCP FSMS certification, FSSAI license/registration and renewal, FosCos regulations for food quality by Mr. Lenin D’sa, Food safety Officer from FDA, Bambolim, Establishing an Enterprise , Market survey, Business plan etc by Mr. Ramchandra Salgaonkar Founder - Amaze Warriors organization , Understanding Banking & Funding – General bank system, Bank loans , Mudra Yojana by Mr. Sunil Goel through online mode, Plan layout and maintenance , procurement of Machinery & raw material storage , transportation by Er. Vinod Atkari, Assistant professor, Goa College of Agriculture, Old Goa,  Regulatory requirements for setting up of factory, Udyam registration, IPR, Trademark registered, Income Tax/PAN, Export-Import licence by Mrs. Sonal Sardessai, Professor, Salgaonkar law college, Goa  through online mode, Financial management by Mr. Jayesh Bondre, Faculty , Hospitality & Management , Freelance management Lecturer through online mode, Marketing Technique & Digital marketing, Logistic supply chain & Branding by Mr. Harishankar Shyam through online mode, followed by hands on training at post-harvest lab and Food Lab of ICAR-CCARI. by Dr. Mathala Juliet Gupta Principal Scientist, ICAR-CCARI supported by Er.
