National Productivity Week
National Productivity Week observed from 12th to 18th February 2017

As decided by the Government of India and conveyed by the National Productivity Council, New Delhi, National Productivity Week is observed by ICAR - Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Goa from 12th to 18th February, 2017. The purpose was to draw the attention of all concerned, towards the concept and encourage implementation of productivity tools and techniques with contemporary relevant themes. The National Productivity Council has selected the theme “From Waste to Profits through Reduce, Recycle, Reuse” for this year.
On this occasion, Dr. Shrikanth Mutnuri, Associate Professor, Applied and Environmental Biotechnology Laboratory - Dept. of Biological Sciences, BITS Pilani (Goa Campus) delivered a Guest lecture on “Waste Management - Reduce, Reuse and Recycle” at Institute on 17.02.2017 for all the staff members of the Institute and KVK. Dr. E B Chakurkar, Director (Acting) also addressed the staff members on this occasion.
An essay competition was also organised on the theme “From Waste to Profits through Reduce, Recycle, Reuse” for all staff members of the Institute and KVK. The participated staff in essay competition was felicitated. The publicity material of NPC was displayed on the entry gates of the Institute and KVK for creating awareness about the National Productivity week amongst the people.
