ICAR-CCARI, Goa organized a training programme on market intelligence for farmers

 

 Under the NABARD funded project "Market Intelligence for Horticultural Crops for Improving Livelihood of Farmer in Goa", a training programme on "Role of Market Intelligence for Horticultural Crops", was organized by ICAR-CCARI, Goa on 08.12.2023 at Kunkaliem village, Mardol, Ponda.

Dr. Shripad Bhat, Senior Scientist (Agriculture Economics) and PI of the project, highlighted the importance of market intelligence in arecanut, coconut, black pepper and cashewnut. He also explained strategies for earning higher farm income. Farmers actively interacted with their questions and through sharing their experience during this programme. A total of 30 participants attended this training programme.

This training programme was coordinated by Dr. Shripad Bhat with assistance from Mr. Nitin Gaonkar, Project Associate.
