ICAR – CCARI, Goa organizes Web casting of Garib Kalyan Sammelan @ AKAM

    ICAR – KVK, North Goa and ICAR – CCARI, Goa organized PM webcasting at Panchayat Hall, Assnora on “Garib Kalyan Sammelan” program organized at Shimla, Himachal Pradesh on 31st May 2022 under Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. This programme marked the completion of eight years of the government led by the Prime Minister and was being organized across the country at State Capitals, District Headquarters, and Krishi Vigyan Kendras.  During the programme Shri Narendra Modi, Hon’ble Prime Minister released the 11th installment of financial benefits under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme. This will transfer an amount of around Rs. 21,000 crore to more than 10 crore beneficiary farmers. On this occasion, Hon’ble PM also interacted with selected beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi of the Nation.

     The programme was organized in collaboration with Smt. Hema Budge, President of Pragati Rural Mart, Assnora. On this occasion Vermibeds were also distributed to the self-help group women to promote entrepreneurship. The programme was attended by 50 Self Help group women farmers. This programme was coordinated by Smt. Sunetra Talaulikar, SMS (Home Science) and Shri Rahul M. Kulkarni, ACTO proposed vote of thanks. Technical assistance was provided by Shri Viswajeet Prajapati, Technical Officer (Computer).
