An outreach programme on Fulbright Fellowships held at ICAR-CCARI, Goa

 

    The recent event held on 21-03-2024 at ICAR-CCARI, Goa featured an insightful program centered around the 2025-26 Fulbright-Nehru and other Fulbright Fellowships for Indian citizens. The event commenced with a brief introduction followed by a warm welcome to all attendees. The Director of ICAR-CCARI, Goa, shared his remarks, emphasizing the significance of such prestigious fellowships in fostering academic and research collaborations. Dr. Ryan Pereira from USIEF Mumbai then provided detailed information about the Fulbright Fellowship opportunities available for Indian citizens in the upcoming years. A stimulating question and answer session ensued, allowing participants to engage and seek clarifications. The program was attended by esteemed scientists, technical staff (T-6 and above), and project staff (including Research Associates, Senior Research Fellows, Junior Research Fellows, Young Professionals, and project staff) of ICAR-CCARI Goa. The program was also conducted virtually, allowing participants from across the country to join and benefit from the event. A total of 70 participants physically and virtually attended the programme. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, delivered by Dr. R. Solomon Rajkumar, Senior Scientist (LPT). Dr. Gopal Ramdas Mahajan, Dr. R. Solomon Rajkumar and Mrs. Pranjali Wadekar ensured smooth coordination throughout the program.
