National training program on " Use of Bypass fat in dairy animals" conducted on 30-06-2015

One day national training program on use of Bypass fat in dairy animals" was conducted on 30th June, 2015 at ICAR – Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Old Goa

About 40 progressive farmers from Goa and other states of the country participated training program at ICAR Institute, Old Goa. The farmers were demonstrated the by pass fat production at the field level. The programme is being supported by Govt of India under Rastriya Krishi Vikas Yojana (RKVY).  The function was graced by Dr. R. B Dhuri, Manager, Goa Dairy and Dr. Narendra Pratap Singh, Director, ICAR-CCARI-Old Goa presided over the function and emphasized the importance of the use of bypass fat production and conservation of the indigenous cattle breeds. Dr. P. K. Naik the subject expert from ICARI-CARI, Bhubaneshwar has given a lecture on the by pass fat production. Dr E B Chakurkar, Head, Animal Sciences Section welcomed the dignitaries and Dr R Solomon Rajkumar, Scientist proposed vote of thanks.
