ICAR–CCARI celebrates World Blood Donor Day

           The World Blood Donor Day is a global celebration held annually on the 14^th June to express gratitude to blood donors for their selfless act of saving lives through voluntary blood donation. The campaign slogan for this year is “20 years of celebrating giving: Thank you, blood donors!” On account of the celebration of World Blood Donor Day, a Blood Donation Camp was organized by this institute in collaboration with the Officials of Blood Bank, Goa Medical College, Bambolim, Goa on 13-06-2024.  All the Officials/Staff Members, Contractual Staff SRFs, JRFs, PAs, YPs, RA & Security Personnel voluntarily participated for this camp and donated blood and also a Pledge for blood donation was administered on 14-06-2024 at the Institute. All the Officers/Staff Members/RA/SRF/JRF/Project Assistants/Field Assistants/Young Professionals participated in the Pledge-taking ceremony. Shri Rahul Kulkarni, ACTO was the Nodal Officer for organising the Blood Donation Camp.
