Condolence Meeting on 28.7.15 to pay homage to Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, Former President of India

 

All the staff of ICAR – Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute paid tribute to Dr Abul  Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam, in short Dr A P J Abdul Kalam, 11th   President of India on 28.7.15 due to sudden demise of Dr Kalam from a massive cardiac failure at Shillong, Meghalaya on 27.7.15.  In the deliberation Director In charge Dr S K Das told that he was father of Indian Missile Technology and hence popularly known as “Missile Man”. He devoted his whole life for the welfare of nation. India lost an eminent scientist, educator and administrator. In real sense Bharat lost his “Ratna”. He was basically People’s President. No doubt it is irreparable loss to the nation. So like whole nation Director and all the staff of our institute also mourn the loss of this great personality.
