Aayudh Pooja performed at Institute
All Implements, machines,
vehicles and tools are worshipped on the occasion of Aayudh Pooja (Dussehra) in
the institute on 18.10.2018. Aayudh Pooja is a day of ‘Worship of
tools’. It is a gesture symbolizing work as worship. The Puja is
considered a meaningful custom, which focuses specific attention to
one’s profession and its related tools and connotes that a divine
force is working behind it to perform well and for getting the
proper reward.
Dr. E. B. Chakurkar, Director (A) of the institute graced the
occasion. Sh. Vinod Ubarhande, Farm Superintendent performed the
pooja of implements, machines, vehicles and tools in the Farm
section and Animal Section units. Scientists, Technical and
contractual staff of farm section also participated in the Aayudh
Pooja.
