Aayudh Pooja performed at Institute
All Vehicles, Implements, Machines, and Tools are worshipped on the occasion of Aayudh Pooja in the institute on Dasshera 30.09.2017. Aayudh Pooja is a day of ‘Worship of tools’. It is a gesture symbolizing work as worship. The Puja is considered a meaningful custom, which focuses specific attention to one’s profession and its related tools and connotes that a divine force is working behind it to perform well and for getting the proper reward.
Dr. E. B. Chakurkar, Director (A) of the institute performed the pooja of implements, machines, vehicles and tools in the vehicle shed of institute. Scientists, Technical staff and workers also participated in the Aayudh Pooja.
