Report on SCSP training programme on Vermicomposting

Under SCSP Programme 07nos. training programmes on vermicomposting were organized at Tambose, Corjuem, Advalpal, Ibrampur, and KVK. During the training programme all the aspects like life cycle of earthworms, types of vermi pits, methodology of filling the vermi pit, harvesting and packing were demonstrated to 166 participants. The participants were also supplied with vermi bags and earthworms to initiate vermicomposting. This programme was coordinated by Shri H. R. C. Prabhu, Programme Coordinator Incharge, ICAR – KVK, North Goa.
