73^rd Republic Day celebration at ICAR-CCARI, Goa

    ICAR-CCARI, Goa celebrated 73^rd Republic Day on 26^th January 2022 with high spirit and enthusiasm. Dr. Parveen Kumar, Director of the institute hoisted the tricolor and expressed his gratitude to the farming community for serving the country even during the difficult times being faced during the past 2 years. In his brief address to all the staff members of the institute, Director expressed his happiness about the various accomplishments of the Institute during the previous year. Director also stressed upon upscaling of various technologies of the institute to cater the farmer’s needs. He outlined the future roadmap of the institute and emphasized on need-based research involving stakeholders to increase the income of the farmers in the coastal region. A cultural program on this occasion was organized at the institute in which the children of institute staff actively participated and performed various activities like patriotic songs, dance, speech and fancy dress of patriotic leaders. Director also felicitated the contractual staff who have immensely contributed for the development of the institute. The program was coordinated by Mr. Shashi Vishwakarma, Farm Superintendent and Dr. Sujeet Desai.
