ICAR-CCARI, Goa Organized Press Meet

    A Press Meet was organized at ICAR-CCARI Goa on 4th October 2021 in which officials/correspondents from Press and Information Bureau, Goa, Doordarshan, All India Radio, important daily newspapers both in English & Marathi like Navhind Times, Times of India, Tarun Bharat, Gomantak, Lokmat, and Private TV channels, Prudent media, Goa 365 paticipated.

    Dr Parveen Kumar, Director ICAR-CCARI made a presentation about the research achievements and its socio-economic impact. Dr. Kumar also sketched the future research roadmap for next 5 years based upon the feedback received from the farmers and other stakeholders from the state of Goa as well as all other coastal states of India.

    Dr. A.R. Desai Section Incharge Horticulture, Dr. R. Ramesh Section Incharge Crop Improvement, Dr. Gopal R. Mahajan Section Incharge NRM, Senior Scientist and KVK Incharge Shri Chidanand Prabhu, Dr. Shreekant Scientist - Fisheries, Dr. Shripad Bhat           Scientist - Agriculture Economics, Dr. K.K. Manohara Senior Scientist (GPB), were also present for interaction with the press and media personnel.  The Print & electronic media personnel had a detail interaction with Director and Scientists on various current issues pertaining to agriculture in the state of Goa.

    Mr. Rahul M. Kulkarni ACTO & Press & Publicity Incharge and Mrs Pranjali Wadekar Senior Technical Officer coordinated the programme. The Press meet concluded with National Anthem.
