Memorandum of Understanding

 

    A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between ICAR- Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Old Goa and Nirmal Vishwa (Goa), Ponda Goa an environmental NGO on 2nd August 2017 for collaboration in the areas of technical guidance, training and demonstration. Dr. Eaknath B Chakurkar, Director, ICAR – CCARI, Old Goa Shri. Pradeep V. Kamat, Secretary, Nirmal Vishwa (Goa) signed the Memorandum in presence of Dr. Shivasharanappa N, Scientist and Coordinator, PME Cell and Shri. P. K. Ghate, Member, Nirmal Vishwa (Goa along with Shri K. D. Sadhle and Shri. Sachin Tendulkar.

 

    Nirmal Vishwa is a environmental NGO which carries clean and green campaign comprising of anti-pollution activities, afforestation programs, watershed development, waste management, organic farming, heritage conservation etc. ICAR- CCARI will collaborate with the Nirmal Vishwa in promoting various activities viz. Backyard garden, rooftop/terrace garden, compost making, soil preparation, rain water harvesting, poultry farming, fish farming etc.
