Mid-term Institute Research Council (IRC) meeting
Mid-term Institute Research Council (IRC) meeting of ICAR - Central Coastal Agricultural Research Institute, Old Goa, was held during 1-2nd November 2018. The meeting was chaired by Dr. E. B. Chakurkar, director, ICAR-CCARI. He welcomed all the scientists, members of IRC and highlighted the significant points to be included and worked out during the present midterm IRC meeting.
The scientists from different sections presented their research achievements for the period from April 2018 to till date, under their respective institute as well as externally funded projects. The action(s) taken on recommendations of last IRC meeting and research activities carried out during the last six months was presented and discussed thoroughly. The Chairman, IRC, Dr. E. B. Chakurkar, appreciated the research accomplishments of the scientists. During plenary session, Dr. Manohara, K. K., presented the rapporteurs report and the decisions pertaining to each of the project were finalized as per the advice from the Chairman and the members. The meeting was concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Manohara, K. K., secretary, Institute Research Council, ICAR-CCARI, Goa.
