Goa Krishi Kranti and Training Hall Inauguration
ICAR – CCARI, Goa participated in the Goa Krishi Kranti exhibition organized by ATMA-North at Dhuler Farm, Mapusa 0n 18-12-2018. The exhibition was inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Shripad Y. Naik Hon. Union Minister for AYUSH, with other dignitaries present were Shri Vijay Sardesai, Hon. Agricultural Minister, Govt. of Goa, Shri Micheal Lobo, Hon. Deputy Speaker, Govt. of Goa, Shri Vinod Palienkar, Hon. WRD Minister, Govt. of Goa, Shri Dayanand Narvekar, Ex-Agriculture Minister, Govt. of Goa, Dr. Eaknath B. Chakuarkar, Director (A), ICAR – CCARI, Goa. Activities of ICAR – CCARI, Goa, were showcased and Shri Edward Crasta, Technical Officer and Shri Shashi Vishwakarma, Technical Officer (Soil Science) explained the technologies of ICAR during the three day exhibition from 18th to 20th December, 2018. Shri H. R. C. Prabhu, Programme Coordinator Incharge, ICAR – KVK, North Goa gave lecture on disease management in vegetable crops. Dr. Maruthadurai, Scientist (Entomology) spoke on pest in vegetable crops.
