ICAR-CCARI Goes Cashless

Coastal Agricultural Research Institute in Goa today initiated
digital payment system for its sales of plating materials, farm &
dairy produce, publications and other products. Now payments for
these purchases can be made by using debit/credit cards of all
banks.
Dr
Eaknath B Chakurkar, Director (Acting), ICAR-CCARI,Goa, while
initiating the process hoped that this will facilitate stakeholders
to purchase plating material and other farm produce with much ease
in the ‘less cash’ regime of the country. The PoS machine was
installed by Canara Bank, the official bank of ICAR-CCARI.
