Shri Sharad Pawar, Honorable Union Minister of Agriculture & Food Processing Industries, Government of India, visited the Institute on 18-05-2011. During his visit, the minister was appraised of the research work and programmes carried out at the Institute.

             Shri. Pratapsingh Rane, Honourable Speaker of Goa Legislative Assembly and Shri. Sripad Naik, Honourable Member of Parliament were also present during the visit and discussions.

             The areas requiring attention and support of the Government for the agricultural development of Goa was also discussed.
