Description
This species is characterised by reddish brown with blue centered bright ocelli and scattered black spots dorsally. The disc is angular aand with out thorns and tail is as long as body with conspicuous black and white rings

Diet
Feeds on crabs, shrimps and small benthic fishes
Utilization
It is used in fresh/chilled form for consumption and also used as an aquarium fish
