Description
The body is greenish-brown in color with small white spots on the dorsal, lateral and caudal fin region. Body is covered with small spines except around snout and caudal peduncle

Maximum length: 24.8 cm (TL), common length: 15-20 cm (TL)
Diet
Feed on a variety of food items including coralline algae, detritus, mollusks, crabs and other invertebrates

It is utilised as an aquarium fish
