Description
Reddish to tan or grey in color, with numerous thin dark bars on body and head. Tentacle above eye may be faintly banded and Adults have a band of small spines along the cheek and small spots in the median fins

Maximum length: 28.3 cm (TL), common length: 18-20 cm (TL)
Diet
Feeds on crabs, shrimps and small fishes
Utilization
It is not an edible fish and used as an aquarium fish
