Description
Dorsal spines (total): 11 - 12; Dorsal soft rays (total): 16-17; Anal spines: 3; Anal soft rays: 7 - 8. Adults bronze with small white spots, lips pink; young dusky olive to greyish.

Diet
Feeds on small fishes and bottom invertebrates.
