Description

It is a deep and laterally compressed fish, with the deepest point of the body located between the origin of the dorsal and anal fins and having the head and tail tapering either side.

Diet

Feed on sedentary or slow moving crustaceans and occasionally feed on small crabs and fishes?


Utilization

Excellent food fish, marketed fresh or dried or salted.
