Description
Characterized by grey to whitish colour with numerous close-set orange to brown spots, becoming smaller and increase in number as growth increases; narrow white margin on tail.

Maximum length: 42.6 cm (TL), common length: 20-30 cm (TL).
Diet
Feeds on fish and benthic invertebrates, primarily prawns and crabs.

Marketed fresh and also dried salted.
